We rent out FogScreen® units for events and have been for over 9 years. But if you feel you need to buy one, well we can do that for you as well. The units that are avaliable to buy are below.
The 1.03m wide New Generation eZ can bring the FogScreen® magic almost into any sized space, without inhibiting floor space. eZ is the perfect solution for permanent or non-permanent installations in the entertainment sector. With its plug & play feature, compact body design, sharp image and virtually drip-free characteristics, eZ can be adapted to fit any venue.
eMotion is our so called plug and play model, i.e. the easiest FogScreen® to install, use and maintain because it has been designed with a compact body structure incorporating all the elements into the main screen housing. One power plug and one water line is all that’s needed to connect the screen and start wowing people.

The world premiere of FogScreen® projection screen was in October 2002 at the Turku Science Fair in Turku, Finland. Volume production of the original FogScreen Inia projection screen started in late 2004. The interactivity add-on debuted in June 2005, and the 1-meter linkable FogScreen®Pro, was launched in April 2006. In late 2009 FogScreen Inc. launched its New Generation plug & play models eZ and eMotion that have today replaced the Inia.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCESSFUL FOGSCREEN IMPLEMENTATION.
LIGHTING CONDITIONS. FOGSCREEN REQUIRES CONTROLLED LIGHTING. THE BRIGHTER THE AREA, THE BRIGHTER THE PROJECTOR NECESSARY TO MAKE THE IMAGRY COME TO LIFE.
AIRFLOW. CONTROLLED AIRFLOW IS NECESSARY FOR THE FOGSCREEN.
FOGSCREEN COMES IN 1M LENGTHS AND CLIP TOGETHER TO FORM LARGER UNITS. IN NEW ZEALAND WE HAVE 2 UNITS SO YOU CAN HAVE 1 X 1M, 1 X 2M OR 2 X 1M UNITS.
PROJECTOR. A MINIMUM 5500 LUMENS PROJECTOR IS REQUIRED. BRIGHTER AREAS REQUIRE BRIGHTER PROJECTORS.
FOGSCREEN IS ALWAYS REAR PROJECTED, WITH THE PROJECTOR AROUND 4.5M AWAY.
THE FOGSCREEN UNITS NEED TO BE POSITIONED ABOVE THE GROUND. THE USUAL WAY OF FIXING THEM IS THROUGH THE USE OF A TRUSS SYSTEM. THE TRUSS SYSTEM WE USE IS TRI TRUSS AND THE TOP OF THE TRUSS IS 3,4M X 2.4M WIDE.
CONTENT. BRIGHT AND COLOURFUL IMAGRY WORKS WELL. IF YOU HAVE BRIGHT LOGOS ON A BLACK BACKGROUND THEN THEY WILL APPEAR TO FLOAT IN THE AIR. IF YOU HAVE BRIGHT LOGOS ON A BRIGHT BACKGROUND, THEN IT WILL APPEAR AS A WALL TO WALK THROUGH.
FOGSCREEN REQUIRES A STANDARD POWER SUPPLY. FLAT PIN PLUG 10A.
FOGSCREEN REQUIRES ACCESS TO WATER. IT USES APPROXIMATELY 5L PER HOUR PER UNIT.
THERE ARE NO CHEMICAL USED ON FOGSCREEN.
THERE IS NO SMOKE PRODUCED IN FOGSCREEN.
IT WILL NOT ACTIVATE A STANDARD FIRE SYSTEM AS THERE ARE NO CHEMICAL OR SMOKE IN THE UNIT. JUST WATER.
SET UP TIMES. IF WE ARE SETTING UP THE UNITS, IT GENERALLY TAKES ABOUT 3 HOURS FROM ARRIVAL TO SET UP COMPLETION.
DERIG TAKES APPROXIMATELY 2 HOURS.

The end fans will make the device 26 cm longer.
